iPhone, MMS and IM
It’s a little bit strange. Writing something like an instant messenger for the iPhone shouldn’t be so hard. Granted, I know nothing about programming, but come on, the SMS app screams iChat. Why then has the first version of the iPhone a certainly entertaining yet also infantile YouTube app, but no IM? Edge should be [...]

Wird sich mit It’s Never Been Like That um den Titel bestes Sommeralbum streiten müssen.

It’s Never Been Like That
Yes, indeed. Adjectives that came to my mind when I thought about Phoenix: sweet and gluey as hell. Well, that describes their last album Alphabetical pretty well. But not It’s Never Been Like That. Still Pop but not the gluey and way to sweet part of it. Great music for the hopefully soon beginning summer [...]

All Time Top Five Records
As a kind of follow up to my recent High Fidelity article. Yeah, I dare. But just for fun.
Well, actually, I don’t even own any records, just CDs. I’m a child of the CD age. But records sounds better than CDs, so I will use that. Whatever. Here it is:
5. Set Yourself On Fire, Stars
Simply [...]

High Fidelity
This Book’s gonna definitley make it in my Top Five all time favorite books list, if you know what I mean.
I just finished reading it, and it’s really all in there: the music, the relationships and especially the relationships, and wether it’s important what you are like or what you like.
I’m a Rob kind of [...]

Mark Pilgrim writes about how he tries to protect his ever growing mass of data. It seems as if the solutions to secure your data are either complicated, need a lot of work, are simply expensive, or all of that.
A great, easy and cheap backup solution is desperately needed. The average computer user won’t pay [...]

Jupiter & Mars
I’ve had a chance to be insane
Asylum from the falling rain
I’ve had a chance to break
(»Slow Ceetah«, Red Hot Chili Peppers)
One really great album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. None of the 28 songs is bad, and you simply don’t want to stop listening Stadium Arcadium.
It’s so full of beautiful songs, and it seems [...]
