More World Cup Blogs For You To Enjoy (I)
One reason why I’m somehow sad that the USA didn’t make it to the knock-out round may be these guys, US-Fans, who are in Germany (and Holland, and Switzerland) during the World Cup, making their videocast. And I really enjoyed their (lo-tech) videos so far. First of all (and that may explain my fascination for forgein blogs) because of the look at Germany from the outside (highly interesting and entertaining at the same time) and second because of their enthusiasm and optimism (yeah, ok, after the USA got kicked out, they were crushed, but you could really feel their pain, and that was also – great) and a total lack of any arrogance.
(Yeah, if someone from Ghana would be videoblogging I would maybe also like them, but they are not …)
PS, Germany will beat Argentina. 2-0. Minimum.
PPS, there are guys outside my house singing loudly »Griechischer Wein«. Why am I not out there? Damn. I should help them!
[...] PS, since it worked so well last time, I will do it again: Germany will beat Italia. 2-0 minimum. [...]
